WHAT IS "SMART FLAG MECHANISM"
The Smart flap mechanism’s idea is based on arms motioned by rack and pinion with differential pitch to create the optimal flap positioning.
The racks and the rails are built inside the wing, so no fairing is required. At the “Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit”, we will demonstrate the operation of the system on Boeing 757 wing scale 1:5

During his years as the head of Shafir Production Systems, Roni Shafir had designed and built hundreds of unique customized robotics and sophisticated industrial machine, which operate worldwide.
Since his retirement as CEO of Shafir Production Systems, Mr. Shafir has led multiple successful joint ventures with Shafir Production Systems, for the project execution of his Intellectual Properties

Shafir Projects is a cooperation between Roni Shafir and Shafir Production Systems, managed by Roni Shafir. It was established in 2016, following the retirement of Roni Shafir from Shafir Production Systems, after establishing and heading the company for over three decades.
Roni Shafir, the founder of Shafir Production Systems (now owned by Berkshire Hathaway group, and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems,) managed the company and was the creator of the ideas and patents for their projects.
He is a seasoned mechanical engineer and inventor, with over 10 major, “industry-changing” patents registered, and more patents pending.
